why I built this
I graduated high school with a 2.9 GPA.
That wasn't enough to get into UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, or UC Irvine straight out of high school — and it didn't. I took the transfer route instead, and a few years later, I got into all four.
Essays were where I could finally show a school who I was, beyond a transcript — whether I was applying as a freshman or, later, as a transfer. I built EasyAdmit so students telling their own story don't have to guess the way I did.
To be clear: this is my own story, not a promise about your results. Essays are one part of an application — there's no tool, mine included, that can guarantee an outcome.
